Time on our Hands- Opening Reception, March 28th

The show "Time on Our Hands" features a selection of works from visual artists who were fellows at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA).  The VCCA is a well-known residency program located in Amherst, VA.  The program provides opportunities for visual artists, writers, and composers.

The opening reception was unique in the fact that there was a featured reading by writer, David Ebenbach.

After Mr. Ebenbach's reading, students were encouraged to participate in a lively and informative question and answer session with the artists.

Following the discussion, students and artists wandered the gallery space viewing the works on display and chatting with each other.

The show will be on display until April 28th.  Eckhaus has open gallery hours Tuesday-Friday from 4pm until 7pm, and Saturdays from 12pm until 4pm.
